We run many activities that attract a variety of people with a wide breadth of interests. Please refer to the list below for details:
The TODDLER group at St. Paul’s Church operates during school terms on Thursdays between 10.00am and 11.30am. For more details click here.
… is our daytime event for adults of all ages who are free during the day, taking place on the last Tuesday of every month from 10.00am to 11.45am. For more details click here.
Mothers’ Union has over 4,000,000 members living in 83 countries. About 40 of those are here at St. Paul’s.
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Garden Room (at 10:00 am for a prompt 10:30 am start) for coffee, conversation and usually have a speaker of interest.
We also participate in Deanery and Diocesan events and have regular collections of items for Women’s Refuges.
Everyone is welcome!
To find out more please contact the church office, or speak to Diana Dunford on 01276 507361.
St. Paul’s runs table tennis for adults of reasonable competence, on Monday evenings between 7.30 & 9.30pm.
The evenings are great fun, the standard is good and fairly even across the membership resulting in many close games. We play the old scoring method to 21 and mainly doubles to avoid long sit outs. Singles are played as and when numbers allow. A couple of our more experienced players are happy to provide coaching tips.
There is no need to feel embarrassed if you are worried about whether you are good enough. You are welcome to come along and meet us and judge for yourself before playing.
To find out more and arrange to visit, contact the church office.
Pray @ 7
Every Wednesday, a group of people pray for the Church and the world at 7am for half an hour.
It’s open to everybody who wants to pray and the meeting happens in the Garden Room or sometimes in the entrance area.
You don’t have to go every week and you’re always welcome to join in.
Fine weather walkers
This group heads off on short to medium length walks around the local area which usually culminate in a good pub lunch. A great opportunity to meet new friends, get out in the open and stretch those legs!
For information on the next walk, please contact the Church Office.
Our banner group is a small band of highly creative folks who sew wonderful banners which decorate our church worship spaces. They meet on a Thursday morning in the church centre and are always looking for new people to join them.
For more information, please contact the Church Office.
